We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a professorship in Financial Services & Investment Banking at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Business, German Salary Bracket W2, starting with the Summer Semester 2012 (1st March 2012).

The successful applicant will teach the following courses:

In German:

• At the Bachelor’s level: Business Administration and International Management, in particular courses in Financial Services
• Courses in Business Administration for non-majors/ Survey courses in Business Administration

In English:

• At the Bachelor’s level: Corporate Finance
• At the Master’s level: Courses in International Business and Finance
• Courses in International Management for non-majors/ Survey courses in International Management

In addition, we anticipate that you will:

• Take an active role in promoting the professional development of our faculty.
• Actively participate in various departmental committees and the self-management functions of the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.
• Contribute to the University’s projects in the fields of Applied Research, Technology Transfer and Knowledge Transfer.

Specific requirements include:

• A doctorate in a Business or Economics’ related subject.
• At least five years of work experience in financial services or investment banking, including managerial experience.
• Experience in international capital markets.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Teaching experience, preferably in English. We especially invite applications from native speakers of English.
