PLANT MANAGER
KUSASALETHU PLANT - CARLETONVILLE

If this is you…

You will need:

  • A BSc in Metallurgical Engineering/Chemical Engineering or a Higher National Diploma (Extraction Metallurgy)
  • Previous plant management experience or 10 years’ relevant experience, preferably at a Gold/Precious Metals plant
  • Time management skills
  • Impeccable organisational skills
  • Strong leadership skills, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Assertiveness.

You will be required to:

  • Lead the plant production team
  • Ensure production and performance criteria are met
  • Meet all health and safety regulations, Harmony risk management and security requirements
  • Apply technical skills in process development as well as metallurgical accounting and evaluation
  • Interpret and analyse financial reports or data
  • Focus on costs while managing the revenue stream
  • Ensure that environmental standards are met at the plant, as well as at slimes dams.
