VOLUNTEER VIDEO TRANSCRIBERS

Y Care International requires motivated and committed Volunteer Video Transcribers.

We have an immediate need for people who are skilled at understanding English spoken in West African accents (specifically Liberian), and who can volunteer their time to transcribe video interviews. The person(s) will also need to touch type as transcribing is time-consuming, and be able to start as soon as possible.

In this position you’ll help the Fundraising and Communications team to create case studies of young beneficiaries from Y Care International’s Sustaining Livelihoods programme in Liberia. The interviews will be used in aid agency’s communications to show first-hand how beneficiaries’ lives have been changed for the better by the project.

If you have the skills and experience to make the most of this opportunity, combined with an interest in international development issues, we would like to hear from you.

This post is unpaid, but with Greater London travel and lunch expenses reimbursed. Working from home may be possible by arrangement.

Please contact Sue Wheat as soon as possible on 020 7549 3156 or sue.wheat@ycareinternational.org
