Currently we have 31 million subscribers across all of these regions. In Central America we are in Guatemala, El-Salvador and Honduras.

Summary of Job Description

  • Offer operational and procedural support to the whole sales management in the region
  • Ensure a methodological supervision in the field of the information, processes, products and services involving sales and distribution channels for a correct implementation of the strategy defined by the Sales Team

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Three years experience in assistance to commercially-served channels in mass consumption companies; in issuing result area KPIs and follow up reports; in the development and distribution of sales budgets, in the creation of processes in customer service and training
  • Experience in Engineering and Administrative issues
  • Bilingual (English/French)

Direct Distribution Supervisor

Reports to: Distribution System TL

Department: Go to Market

Summary of Job Description

  • Support Regional Manager to achieve activation and sales objectives
  • Recruit and Manage Activation Team leaders and Freelancers
  • Identify Business/Activation opportunities in the market
  • Provide technical feedback with reference to issues problems with activations
  • Ensure that BTL activities are held on schedule and reports on results
  • Recruit Points of Activation

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor in Business Admin / Marketing/ Business/ Engineering
  • 2 Years of managerial experience with field and operation experience preferable in FMCG

Fixed Asset Officer

Reports to: Financial Controller

Department: Finance

Summary of Job Description

  • Plan, coordinate and promote company fixed asset physical inventory process
  • Coordinate, update and maintain the tracking database for new and existing fixed assets including asset identification tagging, location identification, physical count and departmental equipment custodians
  • Reconcile fixed assets module with related fixed assets general ledger

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Three years of working experience in Accounting or Audit
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • High knowledge of International Financial Reporting Stardards (IFRS)

Rollout Manager

Reports to: CTO

Department: Technical

Summary of Job Description

  • Responsible for the Network Rollout
  • Responsible for any other technical project
  • Align with both commercial strategy and license obligations

VAS Engineer

Reports to: Head of Operations & Maintenance

Department: Technical

Summary of Job Description

  • Operate the VAS platforms securing 99.999% availability and performing support activities (routine maintenance, level 2 maintenance)
  • Implement the network changes initiated by the Planning function issued through Work Orders.
  • Perform acceptance test and intergration activities in case of new node/feature

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering
  • One year relevant experience

NOC Engineer

Reports to: NOC Supervisor

Department: Technical

Summary of Job Description

  • Take care of all Fault Management activities (alarm monitoring, level 1 support, escalation, tracking of corrective actions, reporting of all activities from "fault" to ticket closed")
  • Performing all data back up (APG, IOG, CDR, CP, etc).
  • Monitoring of power status for all sites and reporting following escalation procedures.
    Checking operation of links which are interfaced with the switch, such as billing systems, other plmn/pstn operators, voice mail and pbx and escalate accordingly.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • One year relevant experience.

RAN Engineer

Reports to: Head of Operations & Maintenance

Department: Technical

Summary of Job Description

  • Responsible for Field Maintenance in the area of operation.
  • Implement cell site expansions as and when it is necessary.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of BTS to switch, and switch to other operator interconnect facilities
  • Assist with the identification and requisitioning of a minimum level of test equipment to support BTS, microwave and satellite networks

  • Daily monitoring of transmission network

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • MS Office skills
  • Project Management Skills
  • One year relevant experience

Reports to: Territory Manager (East)

  • Manage local agent recruit sales-force
  • Organise logistics for agent recruitment
  • First point of contact at Tigo for agents in your territory
  • Provide reports and local intelligence of market opportunities or competitor activities

  • Track and actively manage agent performamance in your territory
