Senior internal auditor Christian Aid

Christian Aid is looking to strengthen its Internal Audit Department with the appointment of an additional Senior Internal Auditor. Working in a small team of two, reporting to the Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a schedule of approved audits, covering all aspects of Christian Aid’s control infrastructure. You will also be responsible for supporting the promotion of risk management throughout Christian Aid.

You will be a qualified accountant with a good understanding of risk management and internal control and how these should be applied within core business processes. You will have a proven ability to work autonomously, have strong analytical skills, the ability to assimilate a variety of complex and potentially unfamiliar legal, financial and other technical issues quickly and to evaluate the effectiveness of the related control processes. You will be an effective communicator both orally and in writing.
