Senior Human Resources Partner Management Sciences for Health (MSH)

Management Sciences for Health is seeking a Senior Human Resources Partner to join our team in Cambridge, MA. The Sr. HR Partner serves as a strategic partner and is responsible for the overall management of the HR systems and practices within an assigned region, providing counsel on procedure and policy interpretation; recruiting and retention strategies and employee relations issues. In addition, s/he will focus on organizational effectiveness and development, workforce management and project start up and closure activities. S/he will support the organizational and HR’s mission, goals, and objectives through the implementation and management of activities to deliver HR capacity and infrastructure across assigned Center/Office and region. The Sr. HR Partner will lead their assigned regional HR team ensuring that local and HQ management and employees have effective and accessible Human Resources advice, guidance and solutions.

Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in business administration (MBA) or another related advanced degree preferred. SPHR or GPHR certification ideal. 2. Minimum of 10 years of professional level HR experience, plus demonstrated success as an HR generalist supporting employee groups of 500+ employees in multiple locations preferably in a global professional services organization working in multiple countries in the non-profit arena.
3. Demonstrated success in supporting key senior management and building relationship. 4. Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, and training and development. 5. Strong collaborator with effective interpersonal and analytical skills who is able to work seamlessly across countries, cultures, and organizational units required. 6. Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment and on deadline; aptitude for problem solving and decision making needed.
7. Effective written and verbal communication skills required. Capable of managing conflict and conflicting views. 8. Effective presentation and facilitation, team and leadership development, conflict resolution, and organizational influence skills in organizational effectiveness and leadership development, preferred. 9. English fluency required; knowledge of 2nd language preferred. 10. Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 25 percent.
