Researcher/consultant in social sciences/economics (eHealth)

empirica is a European research and consulting company developing strategies for innovative use of information and communication technology and analysing impacts on organisations and society.

We currently have an opening for a Researcher/consultant in social sciences/economics for our business unit "eHealth“.

This permanent position offers opportunities to contribute to eHealth policy and strategy development, socio-economic impact assessment, business modelling, and to address current research issues in the field of ICT in healthcare. The work involves direct contact with international partners and clients, including the European Commission, industry, healthcare service providers, universities. You will apply sound theoretical principles to real life situations, and lead projects contributing to the development of healthcare in the EU and beyond.

Your profile should include:

 Fluency in oral and written English

 A degree in social sciences such as economics, management/business, public administration, health, political sciences, or a related subject (relevant experience would be an asset)

 Strong conceptual thinking with a good feel for socio-economic & policy issues, and the interplay of science, technology and society

 Interest in teamwork and international collaboration

 Preferably also experience in project leadership and international networking.
