Public Policy Executive Diageo

London or Brussels

There’s a reason why we’re consistently rated as one of the best companies to work for in the world: we value our people as our biggest asset. So it follows that as we change and grow, we continue to ensure our people are looked after in the best possible way.

Join us as a Public Policy Executive and you’ll play a key role in delivering our Western Europe Public Affairs strategy. It involves working closely with both our Head of Public Policy and the Brussels Public Affairs team to develop and drive forward a wide range of public policy campaigns that tackle the issues that are at the forefront of the beverage alcohol sector.

You’ll identify opportunities and monitor associated risks, while helping to build a portfolio of tools, case studies and messages that cover issues such as tax, marketing, licensing, health and other key aspects of public policy. You’ll also keep a close eye on performance, and we’ll challenge you to continually improve the way we work and ensure we deliver best practice across the entire team.

To make an impact, you’ll need experience of developing and/or supporting the successful implementation of multi-country public policy campaigns either for a public affairs agency, large multinational or trade association.

Creative, consistent and influential, you’ll be a naturally gifted leader who can create world class working environments and relationships. A degree in economics, political science, communications or public affairs is vital and you’ll probably be fluent in another European language.

Consistently recognised as one of the best companies to work for in the UK and globally, Diageo people share our passion for being the best that we can be. In return, we offer international opportunities, prestigious experience and a remuneration package that is designed to reward your contribution.
