Qualifications
• BSc Honours degree in Physics
• PhD in Physics in one of the areas of specialization: Alternative Energy, Medical Physics, Bioengineering, and Climatology

Experience
• A record of distinguished original work in one of the areas of specialization
• Good research record in peer reviewed International journals
• Outstanding success and wide recognition of professional activities
• Good teaching experience in Physics at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Proven success in grant applications

Special Responsibilities
• To assist in the graduate and undergraduate teaching in the Physics Department in terms of curriculum development, teaching and research
• Liaise and collaborate with relevant departments, organizations and research units at the national, regional and international levels in order to enhance the research capacity of the Department

Personal Attributes
The candidate must be a good team player with ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
