Legacy Programme Manager

Salary: £35,850 - £39,645 per annum
Location: Central London
Benefits: 25 days holiday, contributory pension, life assurance and more
Contract type: Full time, permanent
Job reference: FC1107

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Legacy management professional, who relishes the opportunity to manage a small, but highly successful legacy team. Proficient in all aspects of legacy administration, and well versed in the marketing and promotion of legacy giving, you’ll be results driven, and have a track record in delivering against targets.

The Brooke’s legacy income has grown significantly over the past five years, and you’ll help design and implement subsequent strategic plans to continue this growth. You’ll be confident dealing with all manner of charitable bequests, including high-value and complex estate accounts, and maintain an excellent working knowledge of charity law as it relates to probate and fundraising issues.

Criteria

The successful applicant will be highly numerate and analytical, with evidence of excellent decision-making skills. Ideally, you’ll have experience working within an animal welfare or international development charity, although proven legacy administration and management skills, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload are most desirable.

In order to excel in this post, you’ll need to be confident, enthusiastic, and able to exert your influence and credibility throughout the organisation. We are looking for someone who is co-operative, methodical and has a real ‘can-do’ attitude to work.

If you’d like the opportunity to join our team, and help working animals and the poor families who depend on them for their livelihood, then we’d love to hear from you.

Closing Date: 7th October 2011

Interviews to be held on: 14th October 2011
