Lecturer in Computer Science

Salary: £32,751 - £44,016 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for two lectureships within the School of Computer Science. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the School's teaching activities and strengthen its research activities.

Candidates must hold a PhD, or equivalent in a relevant subject, an excellent publication record and the ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level. It is desirable that candidates have a track record of external research funding, collaboration across disciplines, experience of different types of assessment and higher education quality assurance. They should also have the ability to play a role in the routine running of the School of Computer Science.

These posts are available from 1 January 2012 on a fixed-term basis for three years.
