Human Resources Administrative Assistant

J/P HRO is a non-profit organization dedicated to help lift the nation of Haiti out of the rubble and give the Haitian people a better life, is seeking experienced professionals for several exciting opportunities as part of its response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is responsible for carrying out several tasks and assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department. He/she will assume all administrative and secretarial functions and provide administrative support services to the HR Manager and other departments Managers on HR related matters.

Responsibilities and Duties: • Writing, drafting contracts, correspondences, forms, procedures and other HR documents • Creating and maintaining the HR database • Creating and updating employees records • Creating and updating all absences and leaves records • General filing for HR department • Assisting the managers and the directors in writing job descriptions • Following-up with all departments on HR issues • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience: • Bilingual secretarial diploma and/or Business Administration degree • 3-5 years of relevant experience in administration and/or human resources • Knowledge of Haitian Labor Law a plus
