Haiti HR Delegate

The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies. We enable vulnerable people in the UK and abroad to prepare for and withstand emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives.

Due to the ongoing expansion of the British Red Cross’s integrated recovery programmes in Port au Prince Haiti, BRC require an International HR Delegate to support with national staffing issues and provide HR business partnering to the in country management team.

The post holder will be part of an operational team in Port-au-Prince but will retain strong professional links to the Haiti HR team at UK Office in London.

Job Purpose

To provide coordination and management to develop and deliver the BRC Integrated Recovery Programme in Delmas 19 Port au Prince within an agreed time frame. To represent BRCS in external coordination bodies and within the Red Cross Movement.

To participate in the development and delivery of a clear concise exit strategy.

Job Information

Location: Port au Prince, Haiti

Salary: from £25,835 per annum plus excellent benefits including daily living allowance, accommocation, medical, vaccinations, insurance, luggage shipment allowance (subject to change).

Contract: Full time. 12 month Fixed Term Contact.
