General Supervisor, Mobile Maintnenance Planning United States-Nevada

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include: Coordinate and lead the efforts of a maintenance team to deliver concise repair plans and schedules for all maintenance activities, ensuring efficient sequencing of all planned outages for the mobile and heavy mining fleets, so that the repair activities progress in a safe, efficient and repeatable manner. Supervise/coordinate the development and delivery of planning and scheduling for all maintenance services for: electric and hydraulic shovels, haul trucks, support equipment, blast hole drills, ancillary equipment, pit electrical equipment, light vehicles and the pit infrastructure. Supervise/coordinate the development and updating of all maintenance strategies for the open pit production assets and facilities. Developing and updating of all maintenance budgets for open pit assets and facilities. Other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
• Ten (10) years maintenance experience, preferably in a mining environment preferred.
• Five (5) years planning/scheduling experience, preferably in a mining environment preferred.
• Two (2) years supervisory experience, PdM technologies, preferably in a mining environment preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience with computer-based maintenance planning/scheduling and Microsoft Office experience Preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with maintenance technicians and other BGMI personnel required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required.
