GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Duties: Support drilling operations including safety checks of drills, logistics support & other tasks including safe, consistent, and proper chip sampling of core; core washing & sawing; assist with check assay sample prep, insertion and tracking; assist with sample pick up & dispatch to lab; assist record keeping for drilling; complete appropriate storage, inventory and disposal of drill samples, assist with drill lay down yard management.
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
1. Excellent safety attitude & record required
2. Valid driver’s license required
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workloadrequired.
5. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions & walk on uneven groundrequired.
6. Experience with drill rigs & sample dispatch preferred.
7. Experience operating a forklift preferred.
8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word & Excel) preferred.
