The position entails

  • Collecting market data and information at regular intervals;
  • Analysing and interpreting data to generate market intelligence and maximize the visibility of the industry;
  • Writing insightful analysis of market trends and sentiment;
  • Authoring articles for submission to specialised press;
  • Undertaking research and conducting surveys on specific issue;
  • Managing leasing-related research projects e.g. coordinating with national leasing associations, leasing companies, consultants etc. to produce original research;
  • Developing support material for use in submissions to policy makers and standard setters;
  • Presenting findings to policy-makers and industry, creating alliances, external and web communications for statistics and research;
  • Providing the secretariat to various working groups and committees (involving the preparation of meeting agendas, supporting documents, minutes etc.)

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Master degree in economics, business studies or related field, with first rate academic record;
  • Minimum 2 (more preferred) years of relevant work experience;
  • Excellent computer skills (incl. experience with Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Thorough analytical skills;
  • Demonstrated first class drafting and presentation skills;
  • Problem-solving attitude;
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines;
  • Superior attention to details;
  • Fluency (native level) in English essential; another European language is an asset;
  • Prior knowledge of the leasing industry useful but not required.
