Director of Monitoring and Evaluation

As a key member of Malaria Consortium’s technical team the Director Monitoring and Evaluation will lead the M&E cluster of the organization as well as provide technical leadership, development and oversight of Malaria Consortium’s work on monitoring and evaluation (M&E). This will include contributing to M&E of malaria control internationally, advising on the M&E component of Malaria Consortium’s programmes and contributing to M&E of Malaria Consortium as an organisation. The successful candidate will: • Postgraduate degree in public health with focus on epidemiology/bio-statistics or demography • Extensive experience working in M&E in developing countries within government, an international organization or research institution, preferably in Asia and/or Africa • Sound knowledge in communicable disease control and particularly malaria • Significant experience in the management of project M&E systems • Significant experience in survey design and implementation • Management and mentoring skills with respect to senior and mid-level staff • Ability to manage and lead a team • Significant experience in the development of data bases, data entry systems (PDA or phone-based) and statistical analysis software (EpiData, Excel, Access, Stata) • Excellent writing and presentation skills How to apply For more information please visit our website www.malariaconsortium.org where you will have access to the full Job Description.
