An exciting career opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated financial services regulator to take the lead role at the Anguilla Financial Services Commission, the island’s independent statutory authority supervising the offshore sector.
Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory with a small but promising international financial centre covering banking, insurance, securities, trust and company service providers. The Financial Services Commission was formed pursuant to the Financial Services Commission Act, 2003 and serves as the island’s independent financial services regulator but is also the competent authority for AML oversight for the finance sector as well as for Not for Profit and Designated Non Financial Businesses and Professions.
The Commission seeks a seasoned professional with wide experience in prudential and conduct of business oversight , excellent strategic and relationship building skills and a clear commitment to helping develop the Commission’s talented young team of professional staff.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant professional qualification and demonstrate ten years regulatory experience, at least five of which should be at senior and international level.
