Campaigns and Communications Officer - Australia

WaterAid Australia was established in 2003 by a number of Australian water companies and international aid organisations modelled on the UK based WaterAid charity.
WaterAid transforms lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world’s poorest communities. We work with partners and influence decision makers to maximize our impact and strive to achieve the changes needed to ensure that taps and toilets reach the 2.6 billion people globally living without safe sanitation and the 884 million without safe water.

We require an experienced campaign and/or communications professional with a strong event management background. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, this role will work with teams across WaterAid, in particular the Policy and Campaigns team, to build our supporter base through campaigning, the delivery of a digital and social media strategy and organizing community-based special events.
