Summary The Associate Director, Global Sponsorship is responsible for supporting growth in Global Sponsorship related revenue. The Associate Director will manage existing global sponsorship partners (Save the Children Italy and Save the Children Korea), Member Organizational Development Approach (MODA) Hosts and ex-Hosts and Save the Children International, and support growth through the solicitation and cultivation of new business through prospective Members. The Associate Director manages a cross functional Global Sponsorship Team (GST) and its activities to ensure Save the Children US meets its commitments to its bilateral sponsorship partners, MODA and the Member Resource Coordination unit. The Associate Director plays a critical role in Save the Children's ability to raise interest in and resources for global sponsorship. Responsibilities • Develop, strengthen and manage relationships with current global sponsorship and Member Organizational Development Approach partners to Achieve fundraising objectives : Serve as the first point of contact for existing and prospective Member accounts; Manage bilateral global sponsorship partners; manage core funding within MODA; promote global sponsorship within Save the Children memberships • Manage Global Sponsorship team : Lead weekly GST meetings, communicate with stakeholders, Ensure high quality donor communications are provided to sponsorship partners; prepare budgets and marketing strategies; track revenue outcomes; provide reports as needed; manage translators working with Save the Children Italy and Korea; work with Director to ensure a smooth transition to Save the Children International • Develop, Promote and implement opportunities for knowledge sharing across all areas of Global Sponsorship, with a particular emphasis on marketing : Strategize, find ways to streamline operations; coordinate with other units participate in external working groups to facilitate knowledge sharing • Other activities as assigned Requirements • BA in Marketing, business, international development or related field • 5- 7 years' experience • Experience in account management and client management preferred • Experience working with an international non-profit or international work experience preferred • Experience working with international organizations a plus • Proven ability to build partnerships • Superb networking skills, team player, strong communication skills • Innovative, entrepreneurial, can work autonomously, problem solver • Excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills • Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Excel and PowerPoint • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
